‘Slow Horses’ Season 4 Arriving on Apple TV+ on September 4

The trailer for Season 4 of Slow Horses, one of Apple TV+‘s most popular and long-standing shows, has just been released.

The show, adapted from Mick Herron’s Spook Street, has been nominated for nine Emmys. The first episode of Season 4 will premiere on September 4, and subsequent episodes will air every Wednesday until October 9.

Slow Horses Season 3 concluded dramatically, and the new trailer highlights the ensemble cast’s handling of explosive situations, complex cases, and Lamb’s colourful vocabulary.

Gary Oldman stars as Lamb, the exceptional but antisocial leader of the group of spies known as Slow Horses. They find themselves in Slough House due to career-ending mistakes, navigating the complexities of the espionage world.

The returning ensemble cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce. Season 4 welcomes Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, and James Callis to the cast. Notably, Season 5 has already been filmed.

Slow Horses has gained international acclaim, with Season 3 earning nine Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, and acting nominations for Oldman, Lowden, and Pryce.
