Netflix has stated that it is aggressively taking action following the Arcane Season 2 leak.

This week, videos and pictures from shows like Spellbound, Terminator Zero, Dandadan, Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain, and Arcane Season 2 were shared on Twitter and 4Chan before spreading to other online platforms. The leaked content included screenshots, clips, and even full seasons, marking one of Netflix’s most significant breaches to date.

Netflix Statement on Arcane Season 2 Leak

A statement from Netflix to The Wrap acknowledged the compromise of a post-production partner that led to the leak of Arcane Season 2 and reassured that their team is vigorously working to have it removed.

Reacting to the leak, animator Kass Chapa expressed frustration on Twitter, emphasizing the hard work that goes into creating content and the disrespect of premature releases.

For subscribers eager to watch these titles legitimately, Terminator Zero will premiere on August 29, Dandadan will be released in October, and Spellbound and Arcane season 2 are scheduled for November.

Arcane, based on the League of Legends game, revolves around sisters Powder and Vi, as they navigate a growing conflict between the city of Piltover and the oppressed Zaun. The series delves into their journeys from optimistic youngsters to significant roles in the city’s contrasting factions.

The show features a notable voice cast, including Kevin Alejandro, Jason Spisak, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Reed Shannon, Katie Leung, Ella Purnell, and Hailee Steinfeld.
