Dune Prophecy is an upcoming American science fiction television series created by Diane Ademu-John.

It serves as a prequel to the film Dune (2021), based on Frank Herbert’s 1963–1965 novel of the same name. It focuses on the origins of the Bene Gesserit, an exclusive and powerful sisterhood that undergoes intense physical training and mental conditioning to obtain superhuman abilities, approximately 10,000 years before the film’s events.

Legendary Television produces the series, with Alison Schapker serving as showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

Dune: Prophecy will premiere as an HBO original on HBO and the streaming service Max in November 2024.
